Crete Street Fringe
Crete Street Fringe is our sub-season that runs in between our mainstage shows. It gives the opportunity to artists and creators to submit smaller scale or independent productions to stage in the gaps naturally created by our regular show seasons.
Primarily, Crete Street Fringe aims to support and showcase:
- emerging artists
- new and independent work
- work that could be considered beyond the theatrical ‘mainstream’
Crete Street Fringe began in 2020, launching with Tick, Tick… Boom! produced by THAT Production Company in association with Beenleigh Theatre Group.
If you think this is the right opportunity for you or your project, simply get in touch and we’ll get back to you to discuss further. Projects can be submitted at any stage of development, whether you have just the first draft of a script, or a fully rehearsed and polished production ready to go.
The BTG committee is open and willing to assist you in assuring success for your production.
